Jose M. Suarez, lost both parents at 21 years old

Dear Compassionate Individuals,

We created this GoFundMe page for my nephew Jose, age 21, who has lost both of his parents within the past two and a half years. We are trying to ease his burden by helping him emotionally and financially since he has experienced this tragic and devastating loss. Jose at 21 is tasked with going through the rest of his life without his parents’ love, guidance and support.

Jose, (JJ) at 18, lost his father to Covid in 2021. His father at that time had been going through cancer treatments, and then succumbed to Covid-19. During the time his father was receiving cancer treatments Jose would drive his father to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York for his cancer treatments, all while attending school and working part-time.

Joses's mother passed away on August 3rd, 2023, due to multiple health issues. His mother had been in and out of the hospital multiple times the past two years which took a strain on the family emotionally, financially and Joses’ pursuit of a higher education. Jose traveled almost every day to and from the hospital and rehabilitation centers to help his mother during her illnesses while also attending school and working part-time. When his mother was home, he continued to assist her, taking her to doctors’ visits, shopping and taking care of the household tasks.

Jose, (JJ) is a well-mannered positive young man, who is a great son, friend and nephew.

Jose works part-time as a server at a local restaurant but does not bring in much money. He is now without both parents at the age of 21. He wants to continue to pursue a higher education but can’t afford the schooling cost, (tuition, fees, textbooks), and living expenses (car, insurance, housing, utility bills, etc.).

Joses’ parent's unexcepted deaths have shattered him emotionally and have placed an enormous financial burden on his shoulders. Your donation will help reduce this financial burden and assist him to rebuild his life.
