It is with great sorrow that I share the loss of our beloved son, brother and friend with the community. José my 9 year old son passed away too soon when he drowned at Britannia beach on June 3rd. He was a joy filled soul that always filled the house with bright energy. José played football, won many awards, loved to draw, had a YouTube channel and so many more hobbies. The day of the devastation I called him while I was out of the country for my mom’s funeral and he asked me “mommy when are you coming back” to which I replied, I will come home soon, I love you. He replied “mommy I love you too”. I was devastated to hear about my baby later that day. I could not believe the words I was hearing, that my baby was gone. I will never get to hear him say “mommy I love you too” again but we will love you forever my José.
this news was such a shock; we were not prepared to fund the funeral and all the additional costs. Any donations appreciated in this time.
