Josee Rouleau and her recovery
Donation protected
On the early morning of Nov 22 while Josée Rouleau was in her apartment one of her neighbours began harassing her and trying to gain access to her apartment. When she finally opened the door her neighbour viciously attacked her with a 6” knife, stabbing her multiple times and leaving her for dead. Thankfully she had a friend over and he called 911 and held her wounds until paramedics arrived. Josee is in the ICU at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. She was stabbed 6 times including once in the back of the head. She has paralysis in both her legs and we are praying that the feelings eventually come back but at this stage we have no idea. Neurology is working closely with her family, but we have already been told it is going to be a long road to recovery. She has tons of physio ahead of her and her road is uncertain. We have set up this go fund me in hopes of helping her out. She has three small dogs that we are trying to care for while she is in the hospital, and because the assailant lives in her building we are trying to find her new accommodations that may be better accessible. She currently lives on the third floor with no elevator so mobility is going to be a huge factor moving forward. The funds from this go fund me will be used for her medical expenses, including rehabilitation, and any personal care services she may need once home, or personal support devices.
Please consider donating to this poor girl, she has had a tough go and any help will be so appreciated.
On behalf of her whole family we thank you. Please keep her in your prayers while she fights to regain her life.
This go fund me has been organized by Felicia Fahey, (Josee’s cousin) and her mom Sue Rouleau!
