Joseph Anthony Calise

Joseph Anthony Calise died suddenly August 16, 2023. Joseph was born January 4, 1997 in Queens, NY. Beloved son of Anthony and Tara. Loving brother of Christine and the late Danny. Cherished grandson of Noreen and Happy, Dianne and Dennis, and Frank and Sandy. Dear nephew of Careen, Doreen and Erin. Joseph is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

I’m heartbroken writing this…but I write this for myself and many of Anthony’s friends and coworkers.

The Calise family has again suffered a tragic loss.

As you know Anthony has worked with us for a long time and is one of the most giving and caring people you will ever know. Anthony is a coworker but more importantly a friend. Anthony and Tara are both loving and amazing people and our hearts go out to them in this very hard time.

Joseph was a great kid with a lot going for him. Personally I remember him challenging me to a game a nerf basketball at 5 years old and just last year leaving the beach to surprise my daughters with McDonalds.

Anthony, Tara and the entire family are such an amazing group of people and nobody can imagine what they are going through.

Anthony did not ask for this fundraiser but we feel that with everything he and his family are dealing with… this not only helps financially but also let’s us show our support.

This page and all funds collected will be directly turned over to Anthony.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Queen of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside on Thursday, August 24 at 11:15 am.
