A lot of you may know me or at least heard of me, my name is Nate Bisson, the second eldest son of Joseph Bisson. It’s with a heavy heart that I share with you all the tragic news that our beloved father, brother, friend passed away on January 9th at approximately 5:30pm while sleeping in our home. Anyone who knows my dad knows he has struggled the past few years. Many of us tried to help in any way we could, yet it always came down to him wanting to help himself. Pops was the smartest and most capable person I’ve ever known. Without a doubt, he could do anything he put his mind to. Unfortunately, he’s lost many of his closest loved ones throughout his life. His mother, his brother, his best friend, and of course his eldest son, my older brother, Joseph. To live with the grief was unbearable and we all seen it. However, I do want to share with you all some of the things he was doing the last days of his life. Last week, he checked himself into detox and finished the one week program by himself, without telling anyone. He came home and immediately began booking medical appointments, applying for jobs and even exercising. He told me he was ready to make a change for not only his family and friends, but most importantly for himself. That’s all I ever wanted and asked for and he did it. Just the day before his passing, he was downstairs bumping music, writing rhymes in his notepad, doing what he loved. I have to say I’m so proud of my pops for the man that he was. We all share an immense love for him and the last thing we need to do is send him off right. I’m asking for help with costs associated with funeral and memorial services. Anything is appreciated and I humbly thank you for any support.
