Support to help Joe Recover from an MVA
Donation protected
On September 8th, 2023 my father, Joseph Eulo, was involved in a motorcycle accident while exiting the NJ Turnpike at Exit 13 in Elizabeth, NJ.
His motorcycle started to slide, causing him to lose control and sustain severe injuries on the left side of his body. These injuries include a broken clavicle, shoulder blade, all ribs on the left side, and a punctured lung. He also suffered from severe road rash all over his body.
He was quickly transported to the Trauma unit at Rutgers University Hospital in Newark, where he underwent surgery to repair his collarbone. The full extent of future surgeries is currently unknown, but his doctors anticipate additional procedures. He is currently in the ICU.
For the past several years, my father has been the primary caregiver for my grandmother. Just a few days before his motorcycle accident, she fell in the bathroom and was taken to Trinitas Hospital's emergency room for evaluation. Due to her severe osteoporosis and previous falls resulting in a fractured pelvis, broken back, and hip replacements, my father has been taking care of her in addition to his daily work and responsibilities.
Unfortunately, as a result of his accident, my father lost his job and will be unable to find new employment or work for 4 to 6 months. This means he will be unable to care for my grandmother, and both of them face a long road to recovery.
We are reaching out to seek your assistance in covering my father and grandmother's medical expenses, as well as their rent, utilities, and other bills during their recovery period.
While we understand that the total cost will likely exceed our $50,000 goal, we would greatly appreciate any amount you can donate.Thank you
Best,
Anna Eulo
