Joseph Romeo dual organ kidney-pancreas surgery

Hello my name is Joseph Romeo i have had type 1 diabetes for 37 years. That is 37 years of insulin needle every day. This has taken a heavy toll on myself and my kidney. I have a dialysis port inserted in jugular vein in my neck with a catheter that lays inside my heart. I have bein on dialysis 3 days a week 4 hours per session since the beginning of October 2022. I am Active with NYU transplant list for a dual-organ transplant surgery that could take place within the next 6 months. My insurance covers most of the cost but there will be a sizable uncovered portion that I will be responsible for. Also the cost of the run-up medical tests that I have had to navigate the last 2 years to make it onto NYU’s transplant list has left myself and my savings account weak. Furthermore, my long term and short term disability insurance company removed me from their coverage due to my inevitable surgery and time off of work. Approx. 6 months for recovery.
