Joseph Tooley

Joseph (Joe) Tooley Jr., 82, of Phoenix, Arizona, was surrounded by loved ones as he peacefully passed away on December 23rd 2022, after complications with congestive heart failure. Joseph is survived by his wife Margaret “Maggie” (80), his two daughters Yvette and Christine (Lewis), five grandchildren, Teresa, Joe, Errolin, Robinson, and Thomas, four great grandchildren, and four brothers and two sisters.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, Joe was raised in Phoenix, Arizona and it is a city he loved and never left. He met his wife Maggie in 1958, and they married in 1960, before they both started their careers at Honeywell. Joe fiercely loved his family, motorcycles, vintage memorabilia, and the culinary arts. His family will remember his laugh, his sense of humor, his protection, and his love.

In keeping with Joseph’s wishes, a traditional funeral will not be held. However, details for a future celebration of life will be shared at a later date. Finally, Joe’s last five months were spent between the hospital and rehab facility, and the family has incurred unexpected expenses, and this GoFundMe page has been created to help cover medical debts and end-of-life costs.
