Joseph Gibson Fighting for his life
Donation protected
My name is Jocelyn Brown. I am raising funds for my brother, Joseph Gibson 28 year old Army Veteran. Joe has been diagnosed 3 weeks ago with testicular cancer & Stage IV Lung Cancer. He is currently at Deaconess Hospital Intensive Care Unit(ICU). He has underwent surgery to remove his left testicle and started chemo treatments the very next day. He expected to be out of the hospital in 3 days and his doctors were saying he would recover as if it never happened, however, today we received the worst news ever- Chemo is not working. The lung cancer is too aggressive and is getting bigger instead of shrinking. The doctors say he has only had cancer for 3 or 4 months. They had paralyzed him because he had a blood clot in his leg. A piece broke off and went into his lungs. He is on a ventalator with 100% oxygen. I believe whole-heartedly that Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN will be a miracle and we need to get him there. Doctors are not giving him long to live. It could be minutes, hours, days.
Joseph is a very loving and caring father of 2. Joe has a family that depends on him to survive. He has so much willpower. Doctors say Joe is young, strong and a fighter. Chemo is not working. His cancer is getting more aggressive. We will not stop the fight. We are doing everything in our power to get him lifelighted to Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. We want to give Joe the best resources possible to stay strong and FIGHT!
I will keep you updated as we receive news. We are praying for a miracle, we are praying for a recovery, we are praying for my little brother who is in so much pain and so little time to take it all in. Please PRAY for JOE!
Thank you so very much & God Bless us all!
