Josephine Danielle Funeral

On Friday January 24th 2025 my little sister Darcy, had some unexpected cramping that she believed to be round ligament pain. A short time later she felt the need to go to the bathroom and that’s when she noticed she was having heavy bleeding.

She immediately informed immediate family and rushed to hospital. Once at hospital the staff checked for baby Josie’s heartbeat, after a couple minutes of not being able to find her heartbeat, they finally were able to pick it up on the monitor. At that moment we were all relieved to hear such a beautiful heartbeat.

Doctor ordered an ultrasound and our sweet Josie girl looked amazing and was moving around and had a strong heartbeat. A short time later we were informed that the ultrasound showed that Darcy had a Placental Abruption. Unfortunately there is nothing that could be done, she was not quite far along enough to undergo an emergency C-Section.

As you can imagine the pain and fear a mama had in that exact moment. The waiting game began. Darcy was admitted shortly after for closer observation.

During the middle of the night, Darcy needed to go to the bathroom and had an uneasy feeling. She asked the nurse if they could please check for Josie’s heartbeat. In that moment she got the worst news no parent wants to hear. Josie no longer had a heartbeat.

After several hours on Saturday January 25th 2025 at 11:05am our sweet Josephine Danielle made her arrival. So beautiful, so perfect and surrounded by so many who love her!

I am starting this gofundme in hopes to take some stress off of mama! As you can imagine nobody is prepared to lose a child or prepare a funeral for their sweet babygirl.

She could use all the prayers as she mourns the loss of her babygirl and the upcoming days of planning for Josie’s funeral. We would love to give our sweet Josie the most beautiful service she deserves. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
