Josephine Regnier Crime Victim Fund

94 year old WWII veteran was robbed and beaten inside her home on Wednesday December 7, 2016.  Josephine was waiting for her daughter outside of her home and returned inside because she was cold.  Her attacker followed her into the house, beat her and stole her purse.    He was seen escaping in a stolen car which he crashed shortly afterwards.  Villa Rosa Pizza has videos of the crash and the attacker running out of the car with Josephine's purse in hand.  They are offering a reward for the arrest and conviction of this individual.

Josephine sustained injuries to her head, face and ribs and is hospitalized at Hines VA Hospital.  Although she was brought to MacNeal Hospital emergency room by Chicago paramedics, they could not admit her because her insurance company had recently ended its relationship with that hospital.  Help is needed with Hospital expenses at MacNeal, medical transport and post hospital recuperation expenses.
