On behalf of Joseph's fiance, Nohemi, we are heartbroken to share the news that Joe is no longer with us. Words cannot express the absolute devastation and sorrow we feel from the loss of someone so dear to our family.
Joseph Rodak, 47, formerly of Port Reading, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018, suddenly from a brain aneurysm, at his home in the Bronx, NY.
Joseph was predeceased by his father, Thomas Rodak. Surviving are his mother, Loretta Rodak; fiancé, Nohemi Gonzalez; step children, Julio, Ricardo, Alexis, Michelle; sisters, Karen Cioce and her husband Thomas, Brenda Urciuoli and her husband Joe along with three nieces, Angelina, Isabella, Julianna and three nephews, Thomas, Nicholas and Joey.
Joe was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and always enjoyed having a good time with his friends and family. He was a hard worker and loved playing golf and always looked forward to annual golf outings.
Joe's life was incomplete until he met his soulmate, Nohemi, and her four incredible children. Joe opened his heart to her kids and embraced being a stepdad. They were planning a spring 2019 wedding with close friends and family.
Joe, you were such an amazing fiance, stepfather, son, and brother. You were admired by so many for your devotion to your family and friends. We are all so fortunate to have known you for your short time on Earth. You were taken from us far too early and you will be so dearly missed. May you rest in peace.
All money raised through this campaign has been set up for Joe's fiance to have exclusive and direct access to all funds collected. The family recently moved to an apartment and are in jeopardy of losing their home. Joe was the primary financial provider for the family. These funds will immensely help them in their daily lives as they try to move forward.
We ask that you please keep Joe Rodak's family in your prayers during this difficult time.
