Josh and Erika Lewey need our help!

On October 28th Erika was confirmed positive for Covid-19. Her health quickly declined from there. Within days she was transferred (by a miracle) to Boston General hospital. She’s been put on a very invasive but life saving machine called ECMO, she’s now back on a ventilator, has been in medically induced comas, had many scares and a few miracles. Her family was told she had a %30 chance of living. They’ve had meeting after meeting with the medical team, lived in the not knowing, fears of the worst thing happening…. And here she is. Still fighting almost a month later: She’s a fighter that’s for damn sure, but while she’s fighting for her life, the world is still continually moving around her.
Her life partner Josh followed her, he followed his heart and soul and has been at her side ever since. They have children, a home, bills to pay ON TOP of travel, car repairs, food, hotel stays, gas, gas and more gas. Funds have been depleted and sadly when times get rough, people have a tendency to not be so nice to eachother.
I’m making this GoFundMe in hopes to take some stress off of josh’s shoulders. They are far away from home, looking at another possible 5 weeks or more in the hospital, more hotel stays and food to be bought, bills to be paid, kids to be fed etc.
As I type this I honestly can’t imagine having to go through of any of this for one second. And here comes the holidays. Please help me make life a little easier for this wonderful couple
They are caring, compassionate, fun & loving humans. I have zero doubt that they would be there to help other families in need and they deserve the very same thing in return. If you know them personally, I’m sure you have zero doubts about that as well☺️
