Help Josh and Family Overcome Medical Hardship

Dear Friends,

It has taken all of our pride to have come to this, but we can't continue to watch our family struggle when we know help is out there. So, as a last resort option, we're hoping we can get through this with a little help from our friends.

While some of you know, most of our peers are unaware that Josh has been struggling with his health for the better part of a year. He rapidly developed severe erythroderma around ten months ago and continues to struggle daily with even the simplest tasks. Josh did not have insurance when all this started and has since built up around $40K in medical bills. He does have insurance now, but it will not retroactively cover these costs. He is no longer working, and I need to be home to help him and the kids as much as I can - so I currently work around 30 hours a week for Ulta.

Being that Josh was self-employed and was the primary income for our family, we have watched our finances slowly crash as his health continues to decline. We struggle weekly to just get by, and if it wasn't for our parents and food pantries, we would legitimately be homeless and hungry.

We have four kids, very little income, and our bills are stacking up faster than we can pay them. We have exhausted our parents for all we can and struggle to cover even the basic necessities like food, gas, utilities, and rent. We are going through the process of disability, but it will be months before we actually see any benefits and we are at rock bottom.

We know times are tough for everybody, but we are humbly asking for any support you can offer to help us get through this difficult time. Every little bit helps, and every contribution will go directly toward covering essential expenses.
