I lost my son Josh three years ago in a tragic accident; he was 24. The life and soul of our family. He leaves behind his daughter Harper-Mae; she was just six months old. Josh was a donor; he went on to save the lives of 6 people

Jenny Gillies is a friend of ours. She and Josh went to the same infant and junior school. Jenny is now waiting for her second kidney, which will take place at the QE hospital, where a world-class transplant unit is planned to open later this year.

We want to help raise as much as possible towards the £2 million needed to make a massive difference in the lives of all donors, their families and transplant patients.

We invest cutting edge medical equipment, facilities you wouldn't normally see in an NHS hospital, medical research, and just making your stay in hospital that little bit better. We also support the UK's military patients, who are treated here at the hospital through the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine.
