Assistance & Care during Liver Transplant process

Hi my name is Kresha Cano, my son Josh Cano (30 yrs old) has been waiting 3 years to get on a liver transplant list and that time has finally come! Josh was diagnosed in 2019 with a rare liver disease that caused cirrhosis to his liver. Since that diagnosis he has been on life support 3 times and has developed PTSD. Josh is a very strong individual and has been doing everything he can to keep himself as healthy as possible but he will not live without this transplant. Josh has also been working on his PTSD weekly with a therapist. He is mentally working on getting ready for this transplant. Financially he needs help. His transplant with be with the transplant team at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN (covered by insurance, thankfully.) This is 4 hours from Duluth where we live and unfortunately we have no vehicle at this time. I am reaching out for assistance with Medical expenses not covered by insurance, travel expenses, food and lodging. We have 2 visits before transplant, a week stay and a 2 day stay. He will also be recovering in Rochester. During this time he will need one care giver (myself) to he with him. Funds will be used for everything related to his expenses during the transplant and recovery process. Our family is reaching out for any help anyone can give.
