Healing for Josh Croft

My name is Lindsay Zirkle. I met Josh a few years ago when I became his neighbor. The whole story still amazes me and what a blessing it still is! I too had been very sick and asked God to use my life in any way He chose. I’m so glad that He knew Josh and I were meant to cross paths. We later discovered what a true gift we had been given in our health and our lives. Although the circumstances for this fundraiser are extremely frightening, It is my belief that Josh’s struggle and pain will bring together beautiful people ! Each one of you are already part of this story.

Josh has been diagnosed with:

traumatic brain injury,

life threatening mycotoxicosis, systemic fungal infection and

several fungal masses penetrating his blood brain barrier.

These health conditions are extremely serious and effect every bodily organ system. Even the smallest financial contribution, will be used in big ways.

Josh is being seen by a world renowned ENT in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Donald P Dennis. He will undergo surgery to remove the fungal masses and then work to repair the damage to his neurological function, strengthen his immune system, and rebuild his detox pathways. Insurance only covers a small portion of his healing yet assuredly God is seeing this through!

After surgery and a recovery time span, Josh will learn if any other organs are effected and what needs to happen to restore his neurological and physical health. Your generous help will be used to fund travel, costs of treatment in many modalities, oxygen therapy, IV Therapy, and the many changes Josh has to make to prevent further complications throughout his lifetime.

As he prepares for surgery, Josh follows an intense protocol that is targeting the fungal infection and helping to strengthen his body. This requires hours of daily treatment consisting of IV infusions, oxygen therapy, nasal irrigation’s, and antifungal medication. Josh also needs nutrient therapy due to malabsorption and supplements to support each process. He has been placed a strict antifungal diet and must be in a mycotoxin free environment.

All of the lifestyle changes and numerous treatments are very challenging and Josh working hard every day to adapt. We have every reason to believe that Josh will overcome this illness and continue healing as he enjoys a new way of life. Dr. Dennis has told Josh to stay positive and enforced hope telling Josh… “I can fix this.”
