Josh Diederich’s accident March 27th 2022

Donation protected
Josh was leaving his moms house (Jill Diederich) Sunday March 27th and roughly 8pm. His car was struck in the drivers door and extricated from the car by Harlem-Roscoe Police Department. He and his 6 yr old son both transported to to Javon Bea in Rockford. His son was transferred to American Family Childrens Hospital in Madison.
Josh is still at Javon Bea in the ICU . He will be having surgery tomorrow to repair his hip fracture.
His back fracture are low and the doctors are hoping as swelling decreases , these fracture will heal on there own. Every rib on this left side is broken. He suffered from a collapsed lung as well. Now his lungs seem to be doing better and he is talking well. ( he is Josh ) He is alert and though in lots of pain , he’s in good spirits over all. Josh will be in the hospital and / or rehab for at least several months. My hope for him is to be able to continue school to become a Pastor on line while healing. It is through God he is still here. Josh definitely had some guardians looking over he and Jameson Sunday. Jameson was released from Children’s Hospital late yesterday afternoon. His clavicle break is non surgical and has been immobilized. His lung contusions will heal with time. This boy was the strongest , most stoic young little man. He has never complained and only cried because he wanted daddy . Thank you all . All who have called . Messaged. Stopped over . Offered help. Kyle Diederich and I are doing our best to update and keep family in the loop. Our family appreciates everyone more than you all know.
You may remember Josh’s smiling face greeting you at the Casey’s of Stockton IL. He’s the type of guy that would do anything to help even if it means giving you his last dime. The apple definitely didn’t fall far from the tree. His mothers kindness and generosity shines through.
Jill owned Vintage Petal of Rockton for 6+ years, member of Pink Heals of Winnebago county,Cops Cars and K9’s of Winnebago county,Rockton Lions club,The Greg Lindmark foundation and many other great causes. Jill ran on the Elizabeth IL ambulance as a first responder for almost 20 years. They both are amazing people.
Our goal is to ease the financial burden as Josh faces a long road of recovery and physical therapy. Thank you very much
