Josh Dvorak's Liver Transplant and Recovery

Hello, I'm Beth, Josh's younger sister. We are putting this fundraiser together for Josh and his wife Sara to help with the medical expenses of Josh's liver transplant and recovery. Josh has been dealing with health issues for a while with no medical community answers. At the beginning of November, he was hospitalized at Mayo for deficient oxygen; no one knew the cause or solution. After much more testing, they discovered he has Hepatopulomonary Syndrome. In short, this means he is advanced liver disease leaving him with other issues and the low oxygen he's been dealing with. The only solution is a liver transplant. It looks like this will happen next year, which means the medical insurance deductible and out of pocket starts over again. Josh has been out of work for a couple of months due to his condition. He recently (late December) has been told by his doctors that he can go back to work with restrictions- one being limited hours. Sara, too has missed work for bringing Josh to appointments and being with him during hospital stays. The transplant itself requires a month+ stay down at Mayo for Josh. They also said Sara would need to be with him for most of that time. The expenses will add up very fast with medical costs, loss of wages, and housing accommodations while away from home. Josh and Sara would be more than grateful for any financial help and, of course, the infinite value of your prayers.
