Josh Paulson Mental Hospitalization & Storage

Hello, my name is Josh Paulson.

The picture here is me on the night I admitted myself into a psychiatric hospital in Austin. Believing I was unlovable, broken and in a suicidal crisis.

I am now getting the help I need. It is helping.

I am now in a partial hospitalization program.

I am now in a place of financial distress where I need to ask for help.

While this is not cancer treatment.

I am taking this treatment as serious as a terminal disease, to me it would be.

Working contract labor and seasonal event or construction jobs I don't qualify for FMLA or Short Term Disability. I will be seeking help from aid organizations in the area, I felt the need to ask here as well.

Goal is to raise funds to take care of basic needs and bills while undergoing treatment.

Also,

I have stored my things that wouldn't fit in the truck since 2021, when I experienced homelessness for about a year. I have a place to stay now, over a year, with 3 roommates my things don't all fit here.

My storage unit has been up for auction twice this year, I scraped up the money and saved it twice .

It goes up for auction October 20th. This time I can't save it, I want to but I can't without help, this time.

Furniture and appliances are stored there, but also the instrument, tool, book, record and personal writings inventory of my life would be pretty well wiped out.

Goal to deal with unit and get out of paid storage ASAP.
