Josh Sniezek Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Joshua Stephin Sniezek passed away early on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from complications of mitochondrial disease. A beloved son, and a friend to many, Josh could always be counted on to provide a welcoming smile. He is known to locals in the Lee County community, as well as those he met in all places he lived, for his enthusiasm, his charisma, and his big personality. Whether he was greeting you at the Rec Center, sharing a meal, or assisting with flood cleanup, Josh demonstrated tireless empathy for the well-being of others, and the vigor he displayed in every facet of his life is unmatched.
Some people were blessed to witness Josh's green thumb. A master horticulturalist, he cultivated endless varieties of flowers and foods. It is felt that Josh's nurturing soul is responsible for these abilities, although this quality also extended into his human interactions. To him, strangers were soon-to-be friends. New friends were great friends. Great friends were family. And, of course, Josh's family was everything to him. His family and his faith were prioritized above all else. Josh is already dearly missed.
While Josh passed away in Beattyville, his family is located in Cleveland. As such, there are many expenses that need to be covered as part of the memorial/service costs. At this time, donations are kindly requested to help ease the financial burden on Josh's family. Any donations can be used immediately to help cover these costs.
