Josh's Journey

Anyone who knows Josh Matthews, knows he is cut from a different mold than most. With a unique sense of humor, and a natural "blood, sweat and tears" work ethic, it is easy to see how he can standout amongst his peers. But the biggest thing Josh can be recognized for, is the size of his heart. If you're looking for a man to lend a helping hand, with nothing in return but perhaps a cold beer, Josh is your guy. If you're looking for someone to invest their time in finding a solution for a problem just because he holds a desire to help, Josh is your guy. And, if you're looking for someone crazy enough to lend their most prized possession to an amateur for the sake of fun and entertainment (we are of course talking about his racecar), then yes; Josh is your guy. Now, it is our turn to try and match the size of heart and desire that Josh has shown for countless people over the years. This past week, Josh was diagnosed with APL Leukemia, and is currently looking at a rather extensive stay in the hospital for treatment and care. This will keep him away from his home, his job, and most importantly, his son Bryce (pictured above), and his wife, Lisa. As far as how much this care may cost; no one knows, and we all may be too afraid to ask. But, if we can get a head start in joining Josh on this journey, we may be able to take a huge burden off the shoulders of him and his family. If unable to donate, feel free to share Josh's story, as the love, prayers, and support can go much further than any dollar amount.
