Josh's D.H Mountain Biking Journey

Hi, my name is Joshua Fultz-Veinotte, I am 17 and currently living with my single mother in Canmore, Alberta. Since I was 8 years old, it's been my dream to qualify for World Cup Downhill Mountain Biking and with a lot of hard work and effort I managed to qualify for National Cup Canada in Mont Sainte-Anne, Quebec from August 2nd-6th, 2017. From the results of National Cup Canada, I have qualified for World Cup in Val di Sole, Italy which takes place August 23rd-27th, 2017 as well as World Championships in Cairns, Australia which takes place September 5th-10th. It would be amazing to represent Canada on an international scale in Downhill Biking.

I was able to begin downhill bike racing at the age of 12, where I have trained hard with the focus and goal of qualifying for World Championship in Downhill Biking with a future goal of competing someday in the X Games.

I am looking for help in raising funds for each trip, costs will range between the 6-8k mark per trip, with a total cost of 12-16k. Funding my way through this life-long dream has been difficult, I have relied on my single mother who has spent many years working multiple jobs and long long hours helping me fulfil my dreams and is still constantly working towards these goals for me.
