Help Josh and Steph recover from Kidney Transplant

UPDATED 12/17/2022 - This fundraiser was started in August of this year to help our family get by while dealing with an extremely difficult time & also to help raise awareness and help us find a possible kidney donor for Josh.

Since the start of this fundraiser so much has transpired. Josh has been out of work for 5 months. His condition had gotten so bad his medical team told him it was his only choice if he wanted to make it through this.

He has been on dialysis 8 hours a day every day, to keep him stable.

We knew from the beginning that Josh's best chance at life was a living donor.

We knew there was a chance of none of us being a "perfect" match.

Finally, after months of testing, procedures, and other things to qualify as a donor, we got word that I (Josh's wife) am a match! The transplant is scheduled for December 27, 2022!!

While overwhelmed with Joy, that this is finally coming to an end, and we can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel, we are also paralyzed with fear of what the future looks like financially for us. Having a home, 3 small children, and both of us being out of work is a frightening situation.

The medical bills are endless, and the anti-rejection medication Josh will need after the transplant are extremely costly, even with insurance.
