Joshua Baez Funeral and Memorial Cost

Hi, my name is Dileiny Baron -- I am helping my cousin Marcy Baez in any way I can to aid in the pain she and her family are going through with the passing of her son Joshua Baez, who was only 23 years old. No one deserves to lose their child and I hope that creating this Gofundme, helps bring them the celebration of life that he deserves.

This letter is what Marcy sent me about what happened and how we can help.

On February 4th, 2022, at about 7:00 am, my son, Joshua Baez was on his way to work. He worked for Everclean Car Wash (a faith-based company) 2020 West Lake Street Hanover Park Illinois, which is 15 minutes from our home. He was in a car accident and somehow, he ended up in the wrong lane into oncoming traffic and was struck by 2 vehicles. There is an ongoing investigation on the cause of the accident by the Bartlett Police Department. We don't have answers and our family needs answers, did someone clip him and leave the scene, or was it black ice? He survived the accident but was unconscious. Brain surgery was performed as well as multiple procedures for all the other serious complications, which included a split spleen, internal bleeding, collapsed lung, severe brain trauma, bleeding out, broken ribs, and other serious injuries. They kept him alive as long as possible but his body succumb to his injuries and he passed away on Feb 5th, 2022. We really need help doing a deep investigation of what happened and support for his funeral, burial, and the medical bills from life support.

He had just about everything he wanted to fulfill his dreams. He had so many plans and visions for the future. He wanted to help others, love, serve Christ, and surrender. He left a lasting impact on so many lives all over the world. He will truly be missed.
