Joshua Bean's Double Lung Transplant Fund
Donation protected
Josh was admitted to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center 6 weeks ago with COVID. Many complications have occurred during his stay including his right lung collapsing multiple times and infections that have caused extensive irreversible damage that has left his lungs unviable. His case has become more critical over the last few days and his medical team has resorted to our last option, a double lung transplant. The transplant team that took him is at Northwestern University in Chicago. To transport Josh over he will need to be flown on an airplane with a highly skilled medical team to keep him stable until arriving in Chicago. This transition is going to be taking place immediately.
In order for this all to take place Carissa will have to relocate to Chicago for six months or more. With more appointments going to be taking place after the six months is up. These funds will allow Carissa to be able to live in Chicago while being able to support her kids who are going to be staying in Spokane.
My name is Cara Covey and I am Josh Bean's Sister-in-law, I have been asked to write this on behalf of his family.. Anyone that knows Josh and Carissa knows that they are always there for anyone in need. Everyone that meets Josh is instantly his friend, he is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needs it. Josh and Carissa have 4 children Jacob, Daniel, Olivia and Micah. Anyone that knows Josh and Carissa knows that they hate to ask for help but right now Josh is the one that needs the helping hand, they need all of our support to make it through this horrible situation. We are asking that you donate anything that you can and more importantly cover their entire family in prayer.
