Joshua Bradstreet-Contreras Funeral Arrangements
THIS IS THE ONLY GO FUND ME FOR JOSHUA BRADSTREET-CONTRERAS !!!
Hello, I am Joshua 's Auntie Tyra. Josh went home to be with the Lord on Friday 8/6/2021. He started his battle with COVID on Tuesday, July 20th. By Tuesday, July 27th, he discovered he wasn't feeling any better so he decided to go to the hospital. The same morning, he talked to his mom and one of his brothers from the hospital and told them he was doing good. He was receiving oxygen and feeling better. When his mom hadn't heard from him she began to worry. She called his phone no answer. She called the hospital and they told her that he was in a medically induced coma on a ventilator. She nurse explained to her that they had Josh permission to do so. We later discovered he had pneumonia as well. In between that time, we all believed Josh was going to pull through. We received several phones calls all with good news some moments and bad news the other moments. On Friday 8/6/2021 at about 9pm, the doctor called with news that Josh has transitioned. It is hard from me to put this altogether but I have to because whenever he called I made sure I could GET IT DONE or try my best doing it.

This was created because his mom didn't have any life insurance. He told her that he was adult and as soon as he secure him a good job he was going to get some so she wouldn't have to worry about it or him. Lord, this has definitely taken us and the family for a loop. We greatly appreciate anything!!! She has to get his body from the hospital in 3 days and find a funeral home and a burial plot. Please help us!!! His mom and I will be in charge of the final arrangements.

If I had to describe Josh in three words it would be passionate, loving, and a go-getter! Josh was big on family. He loved everyone that it dont matter how many times a day he saw or talked to you, he said he loved you. Josh attended Edna Karr for Highschool and joined the band. He later went to follow the family legacy and attend Southern University in Baton Rouge. He became a dog trainer/whisper and later discovered he wanted to be a chef. He was in a program at this restaurant called CAFE' RECONCILE. He had plans on going back to Southern in the Fall of 2021 to study physiology.
