Joshua Conners Treatment - Juvenile Scleroderma
Hello Friends,
My nephew, Josh Conners, has been battling
Juvenile Scleroderma for over two years now.
Scleroderma, which literally means “hard skin,” is a very rare disease that affects the skin and connective tissue (fibers that provide the structure and support for your body). This has been a very difficult battle for Joshua and his family. There are very few resources available for this kind of rare disease. I’ve watched my sister, her husband and my parents attend literally hundreds of medical appointments - first trying to diagnose this condition, and now trying to figure out how best to treat it. All the while, Josh puts on the bravest face.
The good news is that doctors finally think they have a path forward for Josh’s rehabilitation and pain management. However, that path will require Josh and his parents to travel outside the province for many weeks - maybe months.
Our family and friends have come together to raise money for numerous worthwhile charities in the past. So, I figured... why not raise money for one of our own. I’m reaching out to our friends and family to please help Lori and Kris support Josh in his fight against linear juvenile scleroderma.
Thanks for your support.
