Joshua Cortes AKA Josh

Joshua is the son of Marisol and Jimmy Cortes. The baby brother of Anamarie, Evelyn and Jimmy Jr. Cortes.

It is with a broken heart and a shattered spirit that we annouce his passing. As a young child he was loving, outgoing, spirited,

a goofball and loved by everyone who knew him.

At the passing of our older brother Papito in 2012, our lives changed forever.

In his pain he made a plan. A plan to step up and be there for our brothers children. To build memories to honor Papito.

In this process he became the greatest uncle to all his nieces and nephews. As time passed his lost became unbearable.

In Joshuas' words:

" My borothers keeper, I lost myself when I lost you.

I fell hard but I pray to make it to see you again.

Hold your little brother a spot. Your lil bro aint been doing right nor moving right.

I hate myself for my Fucked up ways.I know if you were here, your little brother would of been on his shit.

You was my idol.

I looked up to you and I lost purpose when you left us.

Please strengthen me big bro ,I need it.

Joshua worked hard to stay true to his plan but his pain, anguish and grief was too much to bear. We are suffering the lost of

another son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, an uncle, a step-father and a friend.

At this time, The cortes family is asking our family and friends for the help to properly lay Joshua (son/brother) to rest.

We thank you for your confort and support in our time of need. I also ask that you keep our family in prayer.
