Joshua Cummings Motorcycle Accident Support
Donation protected
Hi, we are Murray and Michelle, Joshua's parents and we are fundraising for our son. We have been overwhelmed by all the support that we have received for Joshua's recovery. We are now over 7 weeks since the accident and has realised so many things that need to be done.
On Friday night 7th January, Joshua was in a severe lifechanging motorcycle accident on his way home. He has sustained multiple major injuries, including loss of digits, crushed hand and most devastatingly loss of his left leg. He is still sedated and not conscious and undergoing multiple operations to save the hand and also a severe injury to his back which will need extensive skin grafts.
Josh is still in a very serious condition and he is by no means out of the woods yet, he is still serious but stable, there are many other secondary injuries that will have to be treated.
Joshua has had now over 15 operations and is still needing major reconstruction on his hand. Murray and i are going to Sydney twice a week and staying at the motel next to the hospital to give Josh support.

Josh is a chef, and at the early age of 24 was already a head chef. He is loved and adored by so many in his industry and i know this has sent a shock wave through his work family.
Josh also has the most wonderful group of lifelong mates, this including his sister Katrina, and i know they are all grieving and they will be a huge support to him during his rehabilitation.
We are raising money to have as a pool to help us as there are many many expenses that we need to try and cover for Joshua. Bills, loan repayments, storage costs, and setting up for when he can come home.
We know that times are tough for everyone at the moment and we are only asking if you can donate, even the smallest amount, it will help so much.
If you cannot donate please send healing prayers as this will be the hardest journey for Joshua and he will need us all.
