Supporting Joshua Curry’s Medical Recovery

Hi everyone! Joshua Curry is a wonderful father to three young children, the best brother/son/friend you could ask for, hard working environmental biologist, and most importantly is very active in his church and community. He and his wife Scarlett are often providing selfless acts of service to his community such as providing transportation and meals for the needy. Unfortunately, last Friday while working Joshua had an episode where he became unconscious while working followed by some odd neurological and cardiac symptoms. When he got to the ER, he was having repeated episodes of unconsciousness, followed by bouts of confusion. These episodes would last 20-30 seconds and were happening every 5-10 minutes for over 4 hours straight. He’s currently admitted to the hospital and we are finally starting to get some answers. While we don’t know the underlying cause yet, we discovered that he has had a stroke and heart block that will require a pacemaker surgery followed by recovery and visits with multiple other specialists. As anyone who has went through anything like this knows, the medical bills are really starting to pile up. While insurance is going to cover some of the expenses, there are lots of expenses that just won’t be covered by insurance. Joshua has been selflessly giving to his community for several years now, and I feel like it’s our turn to give him a hand with these medical expenses. Any donation, no matter how small will help with expenses and his medical recovery so that he can get back to helping his community!

We are also selling t-shirts that will help cover expenses. The shirts which were created by Josh’s friends say, “Jesus loves you Charles” - which is what Josh told the CT tech while he was getting scanned for his stroke! Josh was spreading the love of Jesus, even when he wasn’t sure what the future held for him! What an amazing example of a Child of God and what a great story to share through a t-shirt!
