Joshua Etheridge - Sudden Death of Husband, Father

My name is Michelle Goings, a coworker and friend of Sarah Etheridge for almost 7 years. Sarah’s husband Joshua Etheridge unexpectedly and very suddenly passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 40 years old. Although he was in good health, Joshua succumbed very quickly to an aggressive infection. At the time he was admitted to the hospital, Sarah was out of town at a work conference. She was only barely able to make it to Joshua’s bedside before he was no longer conscious.

Joshua leaves behind his loving wife Sarah, 4 children (Clayton, Matthew, Kolton and Ali), and newborn grandson, Ricky. As you can imagine, Sarah and the children are devastated by the loss of their amazing husband and father. Sarah now faces being the sole caregiver for their younger children, Matthew, Kolton and Ali.

Joshua was Sarah's rock, her support, and the love of her life. The unexpected loss has obviously shocked her to her core. Losing a loved one is always difficult but losing them so suddenly is beyond tragic.
