Joshua Faulkner's battle with COVID

Our beloved Josh is literally in the fight for his life after suffering the horrific effects of COVID 19. He’s currently in the ICU in critical condition and has been sedated and on a ventilator for four weeks. He’s also suffering secondary effects from bacterial infections—including bacterial pneumonia. Since so many have asked how they can help, I will be frank: Josh and his family need money. Not only do they have mounting medical bills, but day-to-day expenses as well. Josh is the sole source of income for his family, and he obviously cannot work now. We don’t know how long his fight will continue in the hospital, but even after he beats this phase (and we are hoping and praying that he will!), his battle back to normalcy will have just begun. He will likely require months of rehabilitation to relearn basic skills from talking and eating to walking, and he will be unable to work and secure an income—likely for some time (months to years). Since “many hands make light work,” I’m asking you to donate any amount you feel you can to help Josh’s family through this process. As you may well know, Josh is a very private person and will not be happy with me for creating this post and sharing his personal needs. But, frankly, I look forward to the day that he is well enough to get mad at me for this!
