Hi everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read. These past few weeks have been a whirlwind. Joshua Gunderson was loved by many and I’m here to ask you for help. Josh was hit by a car on September 12th and is suffering from multiple traumatic brain injuries that he will not completely recover from. Through much discussion, a difficult decision was made by a group of close friends. Josh will ever recover to be the person he was and we agreed that he wouldn’t want to live a life in a twilight zone with constant around the clock care. We decided to transition Josh into hospice care as of October 2nd. As difficult as this decision was, we believe this is what he would have wanted. This fundraiser is to raise money to help pay for cremation costs, a grave/memorial plot and headstone near our good friend Jamie at the Canyonville cemetery, and money to help with funeral/celebration of life costs. Any extra money that isn’t used would be donated to an organization that helps support people with mental health and drug abuse.
