Cancer Journey

Dearest community, I am on another journey in this 50th year of my life, and I am taking the lead very seriously.
Squamous cell skin cancer was found on my forehead for the first time last year around October (I've had many basal cells removed in the past). When it was discovered, I had a double MOHS surgery to remove the two areas on my head, and they were successful. Unfortunately, one came back strong this year, and on June 30th, I was put under, and it was removed with radical surgery. It had made its way down to the bone, yet the doctors were sure they had clean margins.
They did not, and the squamous cell metastasized to my 1B lymph node and to my jaw muscle. I have made radical changes to my life to change the trajectory of where this is headed. I have cut out all sugar, meat, dairy, oil, caffeine, processed foods, and salt. I only eat/drink freshly made juices that I make 6-8 times a day and veggies and fruit. I am on a path to beat this cancer.
I am seeking the best advice and care from all areas, using western medicine supported with alternative therapies such as the Gerson method and the Cancer Treatment Center (ozone, oxygen therapy, high dose vitamin C transfusion) and, of course, the faithful Dr. Kenny at Altadena Healing Arts.
I am meeting with the surgeon and oncologist at USC this Friday to discuss the possibility of a clinical trial that would avoid chemotherapy and radiation before surgery. Alternatively, I would go straight to neck dissection surgery to remove the tumor and affected lymph nodes and then have follow-up treatment.
I am all in and meeting this head-on. I am extremely positive, full of life and optimistic and focused on beating this ... AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN. Even with the ongoing pain and discomfort, I am in good spirits and staying strong. Jules and the kids have been vital inspirations to me as I envision a cancer-free future for myself.
My ask of the community is for energy, moral support, and whatever financial support you can provide. The surgeries and treatments are costly, and my integrative approach with the alternative routes of Gerson and Cancer Treatment Center do not take insurance. I am grateful for anything you can give, and I love you all.
