Josh Villarreal’s Fight Against Cancer
January 30th Josh went to the emergency room with severe stomach pain. After a series of test we have learned that he has metastatic colon cancer. He will begin treatment this week. His community of family, friends, co-workers and teammates have all reached out for support. We are still learning more each day and refining his treatment plan and will try to keep you updated.
We all know Josh. He’s never met someone he didn’t like. He is loving, light-hearted and has the gift of laughter. He comes from an amazing family and it shows in his character. He is a hairdresser at Ruiz salon and moved to Austin at 19. He has moved up and built his career over the past 6 yrs. He met his now fiancée Angela at work. They are expecting their first child end of July. He plays soccer for ATX United on Sundays here in Austin. He is STRONG and needs support and prayers from you. Bottom line. HE IS LOVED BY ALL. Let’s pull together to make things a little easier Josh and his family during this already trying time.
Please share with anyone you know that knows Josh. Share with those that care about fighting Cancer. And any contribution you can make will go to lift up an amazing man who makes the world better by being here.
