Josiah and Ezra's Christmas Tree Blessings

4 years ago, the Chester boys were asked by their parents to think of something they'd like to give or donate at Christmas time to encourage the concept of giving during the Christmas season. Josiah pondered on this for days and at 5 years old, shared that he wanted to donate his favorite Christmas "gift"- a real decorated Christmas tree to families in need. He explained that Christmas trees bring him joy and he wanted to give that to other families. His little brother, Ezra, loves books and reading about the true Christmas story by the tree and added that he wanted to give that. From 2021 on, the boys have donated live Christmas trees with the tree stand, ornaments, hooks, tree toppers, lights, a tree skirt and a family book of the true meaning of Christmas, and starting last year a family Bible to families in need. They have donated 70 complete trees with books to families in need and are looking to donate another 20 (or more!) this year.
