Josie Marie Pooley Support & Care Fund

Please help the Pooley family raise funds to help continue to support their daughter Josie.

Josie was diagnosed with a lymphatic malformation when she was in the womb of her mother Dallas at 20 weeks old. The malformation is located on the right side of Josie's face, very close to her airway. 

Josie was born 2 month early as a premature baby weighing at 4lbs 7oz in October 2020. 

Josie has been staying at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando FL in the NICU since her day of birth. When Josie was born the doctors and nurses were not sure how major the malformation was and how close it could be to her airway. Therefore, when her mother Dallas had to go in for a immediate C-section, Josie was born not breathing and the surgeons had to place a breathing tube in her throat and at that moment Josie was alive and stable. Josie has been such a fighter through this whole situation and her family couldn't be more proud. She has had one surgery on her malformation about 2 months ago has fully recovered from that. Josie does have to continue to be on a ventilator, even when its time for her to come home. She also has had a Gtube put in her stomach so she can eat. Josie has one more surgery before she can come home to try and de-bulk her malformation. 

The Pooley family has been extremely strong through this journey along side their daughter. But the mounting expenses of surgeries and trips back and forth from Vero Beach to Orlando to see their baby girl, along with missed income from such circumstances. Not even venturing in to any additional needs Josie will have when she comes home from the hospital.

 

Dallas and Kyle Pooley have done an amazing job navigating these unchartered water along side their first child. They have triumphed over hurdles they never expected with courage not many have. Never asking for a thing along the way.  They have finally let us reach out for support! Any amount is so much appreciated, no matter how small or large.  Please help them through this time of need.
