Josie's Surgery Expenses

Hi!

My name is Lauren and we are fundraising for our daughter, Josie, and her medical expenses.

She was born with something called fibular hemimelia - meaning she was born without her fibia bone. She had a surgery called SUPERankle in October 2021. The rest of her surgeries will contain of leg lengthenings.

We've recently discovered the screws from the SUPERankle surgery have become lose, and we will need surgery sooner to correct this and start the lengthening. The doctors have said this is now a bit more complicated.

We will be needing to travel to either Baltimore or Florida for 3 months to start this process. Josie will be a in an external fixator for 5+ months.

With surgery, extensive physical therapy, housing for 3 months, we could really use your help!!
