Dear reader, I want to thank you for taking time out of your day for my sake. I am here to ask that you help me undergo a process that, in my eyes will complete my transition. I told myself time and time again this wasn't a realistic goal, given the U.S governments infrastructure, and my disposition as a trans woman of color. I've spent so much of my short life settling for the sake of efficiency. My route to unlearning that, I realize, is living as loud as I want. Which also entails being real with myself and those I surround myself with.

That being said I must be honest with myself, and ask for assistance because I am trying my hardest to improve my quality of life. Gender Reassignment Surgery is a costly endeavor, especially without insurance.The overall cost of this procedure can range from $20,000 to $25,000. These costs cover travel, recovery period, and important check ups. Not including I will be out of commission for at least 2 months, so things like rent, food, and bills all need to be covered as well. I implore you to help me make my childhood dream, a reality. I am well aware of the large amount this is to raise, but I firmly believe that it can be done through the power of our community. I ask that you please donate whatever you can and or share this with anyone and everyone. Anything helps.
