Journey of Inclusion in World Marathon Racing

Tax deductible
Dear Friends,
We hope this message finds you well. We're reaching out to you with excitement and determination as we embark on a remarkable endeavor: to become the first-ever Abbott World Marathon Major Six Star Duo Team Finishers in the world. The Six Star Finisher accomplishment is the completion of the six World Marathon Majors: Chicago, Boston, New York, London, Berlin and Tokyo. Our pursuit of this goal demonstrates our passion for marathon running but more importantly, serves as a powerful testament to the values of inclusion and advocacy.
Over the past year, we have dedicated ourselves to completing this journey, recognizing the importance of promoting inclusion and diversity within the running community. We firmly believe that every individual, regardless of their background or ability, should have the opportunity to participate and excel in marathon racing on the world stage. And our Six Star journey is truly more than just completing six of the world's most iconic marathons. It's about setting an example of teamwork, determination, and unity. We believe that running is a universal language that transcends borders, cultures, and backgrounds. By participating as a duo team, we want to emphasize the importance of inclusion in sports and inspire others to join in breaking down barriers.
Having successfully completed the marathons in Chicago, New York, and London, we stand at the brink of accomplishing this remarkable feat. With the Berlin Marathon scheduled for September 24, 2023, we are thrilled to soon have four of the six major marathons under our belt. This achievement not only signifies our personal dedication and perseverance but also reflects the power of unity and teamwork in overcoming challenges.
Our journey as an Abbott World Marathon Major Six Star Finisher as a duo team has provided us with a platform to champion the cause of inclusion in marathon racing. We firmly believe that we can serve as ambassadors of inclusion, using our experiences and accomplishments to spread a powerful message across the globe. By sharing our story, we aim to inspire others, particularly individuals facing barriers to participation, to embrace the sport and pursue their own dreams without fear or hesitation. We envision creating a ripple effect that encourages individuals from all walks of life to lace up their running shoes and join the marathon community.
Making this dream a reality comes with its share of costs – from travel and accommodations to training expenses and race fees. That's why we're kindly and humbly asking for your support through a tax-deductible donation to the Believe It Foundation/marathons. Your contribution will not only help us cross the finish line but also empower us to inspire others to pursue their dreams.
Your generosity will make a significant impact on our journey. No amount is too small, and we genuinely appreciate every bit of support you can provide. By donating, you'll become an integral part of our team, sharing in the challenges and triumphs of this extraordinary adventure.
Together we can go the distance! Believe with us!
