Journey To Hope For The Klee's After Fire Devastation
Donation protected
On Friday morning, November 15th, Kevin and Susan experienced a devastating house fire. Kevin was working from home in the basement while Susan was working out at the local gym. Stella, their beloved King Shepherd, was upstairs and alerted Kevin to the fire in the garage, ultimately saving both of their lives. By the grace of God, Kevin, Susan and Stella survived this horrific fire. Unfortunately, their beautiful home was absolutely destroyed. Kevin and Susan could only watch as the home they adored collapsed under the fire. Their family heirlooms, treasured possessions, photographs all perished in the fire, along with essentially everything they owned.
Kevin and Susan, eager to bless others at their home loved hosting family and friends. The home which they generously and graciously served others since moving to North Carolina. The same home which both constantly stated "felt more like home than anywhere they had lived" is gone. All that is left cannot be found in the rubble. Cherished memories of family and friends gathering there will remain forever in our hearts, but long gone is what housed them. No longer does a roof overhead exist to offer protection, no longer does the back porch- a favorite dining place- offer its peaceful views.
This is where we humbly ask for those who can step in to offer love, encouragement, and support. In honoring our parents, our heroes, by enabling them with resources to move forward. We are asking for financial contributions and support to allow our parents to start building back a sense of normalcy. There is hope moving forward if we can assist and provide aid.
Thank you in advance for your support in providing funds for our parents to use to replace items necessary to live life. The big ones being clothing essentials, food, toiletry items, and everyday living expenses. It breaks our hearts to think never again will they be able to walk into that home; one they had lovingly dubbed "Journey's End" in hopes they would finish out their golden years there. We can still help their golden years be golden through coming together to help provide them a better journey's end for their future, not only in financial provisions but in love, prayer, and support. Words cannot express our gratitude for your support in this situation, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With humble gratitude and appreciation,
