Journey to safety, stability, & self-sufficiency

Hey there!

We're Mo Mo and Mommy, a family of two toddler boys and a mother. Despite our current situation, we spend most days singing, playing, exploring, and staying agile. We try our best to stay positive and happy although our family is unfortunately in crisis and in urgent need of assistance.

Due to fleeing domestic abuse from multiple households, we were homeless and searching endlessly for a safe place to call HOME. It was especially difficult since we have little support, don't have a personal car, and Mom is unemployed. For months we were moving around from homes, hotels, a domestic violence shelter, and temporary housing provided by an organization.

And thanks to some selfless supporters, patience, and persistence, we have been accepted into a rehousing program through an organization!

This grant will provide a portion of rent for our home! And after settling in, the boys can finally attend daycare so that Mom can continue to work, providing income for the family.

As grateful as we are for this unique opportunity, we also realize that there are other necessities that we will need assistance with during this transition.
