About Reielle
‘Hello there, my name is Reielle.
I’m 26 years old and currently have an unusual life. 7 years ago, I stepped into my passion and profession which was cooking.
4 years into becoming a chef my health soon declined.
5 years ago, I was diagnosed with stage two Adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC). Now I am currently stage 4 ACC, but I am hoping to prove that I am more than a diagnosis, I am a loving thoughtful human being.
It’s taken a long time to actually adjust to my situation, but I have no choice and this cancer is very rare.
Early 2018
Here is my story. Let’s get started… in 2018 I was a chef de partie (my dream job), working in hotels and restaurants and I loved serving people.
I initially started getting stomach pain for three months before I ended up in hospital, I put myself on the back burner and continued to work as I was extremely passionate.
I am grateful that my head chef noticed my pain and told me to book time off as I was constantly in pain holding my chest, it was such a surprise that I literally couldn’t hold plates of food without dropping them due to the sharp pains. I had to take really long breaks to soothe the pain. It was awful and it bought me to tears as I lost confidence in my abilities to deliver great meals on time.
I booked an appointment with a local doctors initially, but I ended up seeing a nurse. After many blood tests and a lack of available doctors I was eventually referred.
This gave me the opportunity to have an ECG and a scan at the hospital.
The scan showed next to nothing, but I was made aware that my potassium, haemoglobin and most vitamins were either too high or too low. This was decided after many blood samples.
November 2018
I was on the way to work in central London, I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my stomach, which was more than the usual pain. It was excruciating, so much so that I was on the tube in tears and rocking back-and-forth, thankfully I had help from the commuters. I eventually pulled myself up and got off the train. I walked in agony to the closest hospital. Which was UCLH A&E department, and this was the beginning of my journey.
Medical evaluations
I was initially given painkillers which could not even fix my menstrual cycle pain let alone what I was experiencing.
Soon after I was put on a cannula and made to wait roughly 5 hours, I would eventually see a Doctor who claimed without investigation that I had kidney stones. Not even I was convinced and I requested a second opinion.
Again I waited, and I believe this wait saved my life luckily for me a gynaecologist appeared, she had my notes in hand and told me she did not believe this was kidney stones but something more serious. I laughed it off because I thought this is true but it couldn’t be happening to me.
I was then sent for a CT scan. The CT scan showed a mass that was connected to my adrenal gland, I had no idea what an adrenal gland was at that time, I found out it was on top of the kidney.
I eventually was sent home with medication and ended up back at the hospital just under two weeks later this time round I had an ultrasound. I also saw another gynaecologist who almost dismissed me, but by chance I saw the original gynaecologist when I first arrived into the hospital who said she had my results. The results came back as an adrenal mass. Shockingly it was approximately 8.5 cm at this point.
Stronger pain relief was given and I was sent home. A team was appointed to my file which looked at the developing mass and the toxins it was possibly releasing in the body.
Many appointments were booked one being a biopsy. Once the results of this biopsy came back they assumed it was a neuroendocrine tumour.
Early 2019
A few weeks later, I was in a lot more pain and an operation date was booked for me on 7th February 2019.
Before the operation my potassium was low so I was given extra potassium before I went under, the operation took six hours. I lost roughly 4pints of blood and 4 of plasma which makes it an absolute miracle that I am still here as it was hit and miss on the operating table.
Unfortunately and sadly I lost very important organs. My left kidney, left adrenal gland and half of my spleen, but a 17.5 cm tumour was successfully removed from my adrenal bed.
The operation was somewhat successful. I spent four days in a critical care unit and i was sent home on Valentine’s Day.
My recovery was painful, but it was definitely a good recovery. No infections, staples were taken out with no complications and I healed well.
I had my regular checkups with my new endocrine team.
March 25, 2019 I was given further sad new! When I met my doctor, I was diagnosed with stage two adreno-cortical carcinoma (ACC). On the same day, I was given my chemotherapy tablets Mitotane, for which I endured 3 cycles. I was also put on steroid tablets, penicillin and eventually many more medications.
Within the first two months of being diagnosed small nodules appeared in my adrenal bed, instantly we decided to go for radiotherapy. Before we started radiotherapy I did an egg collection 17 follicles were collected 16 were frozen.
Summer 2019 I started six rounds of radiotherapy.
But a few months later again, nodules had appeared in my lungs and my liver. At this point, we decided to move to St. Bartholomews hospital this was because they had more treatment options for myself as the cancer cells had developed so much and now I was at stage four.
Once at Saint Bartholomews hospital, I was given a pet scan and shown where these masses had grown. I was given the option of keyhole surgery to remove these nodules as they were small.
March 2020 I had keyhole surgery to remove the nodule that was on my kidney. This was a successful operation.
The impact of Covid 2020
Due to Covid, the second procedure, which was to remove the nodule on the liver could not happen all medical treatment was delayed and myself and others were at the mercy of the available services.
It was a hard time as I needed urgent help. I waited further for a number of months, I was eventually offered chemotherapy as the cancer was growing in my liver, initially I refused and went down the natural holistic plant based route. This was actually successful for a few months until I lost a lot of weight and minerals.
Eventually, I decided to go for chemotherapy in which I had 6 rounds and following this I had a further 6 rounds, 5 months apart. Again, not entirely successful.
Effects of Chemo treatment in 2022
In 2022, I had more chemotherapy, but this was extremely strong and I did not complete the entire course as a result I was put on tablet form chemotherapy Cabozantinib.
I have had many problems with cabozantinib for example, the dosages I was initially put on 80 MG was way too strong. It gave me headaches and an upset stomach. I lost weight, my blood sugars dropped tremendously and I was hospitalised.
I was eventually moved down to 60 MG, which was somewhat better, but still gave me side effects and again I was hospitalised with low blood sugar, high blood pressure and a racing heart.
After fainting and being taken to Whipps Cross hospital, I had been given many bags of fluid. Initially I had no idea what this was for as I was half asleep when given most of these bags of fluid, I was disorientated and couldn’t differentiate between each bag of fluid, this actually made fluid build up around the heart and now I have a leaky heart valve, I was blue lighted to Saint Bartholomews hospital where was taken to ICU. I was given a central line and spent I think around 3 to 4 days in ICU.
Now I have a leaky heart valve, high blood pressure, and sometimes struggle to breathe. As for the blood sugars, they were sorted by given me somatropin a growth hormone injection daily.
Currently the problem that I suffer from now is extreme swelling from the abdomen down to my feet. This is something that has been an ongoing problem for the last four months I’ve been given diuretics to aid this. I receive a small amount of relief, but I remain swollen. The pain is agonising.
2023
For many months in 2023, I caught numerous infections. This was due to my white blood cell count being low. This meant I spent many many weeks in hospital not to mention the blood sugars being low constantly. This was eventually diagnosed as non-reactive hypoglycaemia.
Over the Christmas period 2023, I spent Christmas in Saint Bartholomews hospital because the water retention in my stomach was being pushed into my chest and I was finding it difficult to breathe!
So initially I called 999 and was taken to my local hospital and eventually went to Saint Bartholomews, which is where I stayed. The swelling was terrible and I was given a catheter eventually upon asking I was also given many diuretics to help flush and release water, this did not work.
Eventually upon investigation, I was told I had salmonella then E. coli then eventually it was discovered that it was typhoid!
My stomach started to swell even more I was offered a biopsy in which a needle would be inserted into my liver, and then into the tumour to find out whether or not it was liquid or solid , It was discovered that it was hard and that there was only a few options for the next treatment.
Self care
As my health and certain organs were starting to struggle, I was told on boxing day of 2023 I’ll be going onto palliative care and made comfortable. I could either stay in hospital or go home and be comfortable. I decided to go home and try a new approach when it comes to dealing with this cancer.
Currently I am on a plant-based diet I only eat vegan food I drink herbal teas. I take some tonics and I juice and makes smoothies every day.
Before I left the hospital, I was told my kidney was like a shrivelled grape since changing my lifestyle and diet. My kidney has gone back to normally functioning.
Sometimes when my blood count is low, which is why I’m often given a blood transfusion it can help but I usually need 2 units of blood. A few weeks ago My haemoglobin was at 42, it can raise to 62 but that is it. I will then get an iron infusion to help with my haemoglobin levels but this is one thing I do struggle to keep up.
Complimentary Support and Treatment
Since I have been fending for myself on palliative care I have been kindly introduced to Nik who is an amazing clinician who has a background in executive complimentary healthcare, via a family friend who kindly managed to get me access to him to look at my case and to offer advice. He took my case to pieces and started to fill in the gaps of where I couldn’t get an answer from my medical team. He has looked at my lifestyle from so many angles which has been a real eye opener. He has a vast knowledge in many things that have impacted me in such a short time. For example when I spoke to the hospital they said that the fluid was offloading from my organs. They didn’t offer me a solution. Nik agreed with what they said and then he looked at how we could possibly impact or reduce offloading of fluid into my legs and swollen stomach.
During my first session with him, my legs leaked fluid non stop and then this continued for several days, which means I can use my legs! I’m not as swollen as I have been for the past 5 months and my blood pressure has gone down.
Our follow up sessions were about using technology to help me see visually how I am feeling and to help me to gain control over things I can control. I can use these techniques daily now.
On the phone support
Nik has been there when i am in pain to guide me through what adjustments i can make, previously i felt alone as the medical services didnt offer this kind of help.
Nik has helped me by researching and finding possible clinical partners to assist me with further medical treatment, and that is how i heard about Immucura.
Nik has also helped me prepare by organising my paperwork and by preparing me to speak to private medical clinics.
I feel that I am in a good place and will really benefit from more of his help’.

Therapeutic Wellness Approach support from the Body and Mind Clinic www.bodyandmindclinic.com
My name is Nik. I have over the past 20 plus years studied and researched ways to improve human performance using unique evidence based methods and a combined wellness approach that incorporates treatment, movement and self help.
I am a practical man who in my own health challenges wanted to see results and wanted to also be able to feel the difference too, because in theory reading a hundred well written articles about nutrition sounds great but did nothing to stop me from falling asleep whilst driving! I had to take action and like Reielle my action and desire to help myself was saved by meeting the right people at the right time by private referral.
As a result I received a good slap from the Pioneer and Co creator Doctor Richard Bandler whilst in a hypnotic trance on stage after a hypnotic intervention which was the last time that I fell asleep driving, I will always remember his words and how he helped me.
I made a full recovery from chronic fatigue which debilitated me. But by studying an all encompassing approach to healthcare my eyes were opened. I was extremely athletic and have as a result trained and treated high performance athletes whilst on the other side of the health spectrum I have been the go to person for corporates and executives who have needed someone to exclusively care for their unexpected health changes or ageing needs.
After ghost writing global healthcare programs for private individuals I have over the years built models of practice that can improve fundamental bodily functions which essentially slow us down and increase the ageing process.
I have as a result helped thousands of people to make health changes and now i am asking for your help for the life of this young lady.
Can I please encourage those that I have helped in the past to give back generously to this cause.
As some of you know my mother was diagnosed with cancer with absolutely no time to try and beat it, we miss her….
Yet here we are with a young lady who has a bright future ahead of her and my heart pours out to Reielle and her family.
In January of this year a video was sent to me of a Reielle who started her Cancer Journey in 2018/2019. She was only 19 years old!
I couldn’t stop watching the video and I felt powerless to help her at the time.
I was then asked by a helpful friend of hers if I knew anything about what she was experiencing. When I heard that she was within my network and I heard that she was struggling to manage some of her symptoms I passed along some advice.
Since then Reielle was referred to see me due to my previous impact at a multidisciplinary community clinic via a really supportive group of elders who are passionate about helping people in the community.
They give regularly to the community whether it is food or donations to others who are less fortunate. As a result the lady who passed on the initial video funded the initial assessments which kickstarted this campaign. With that being said Reielle and her family would like to send love and an extended thank you to Lynette (a fairy god mother, with a heart of solid gold).
Reielle is a sweet and gentle young lady who has been through the wars, none of the pictures videos or words can explain what she has endured and how she has managed to come out on the other side, I cannot imagine how many tears Reielle, her mom or family have shed due to what she has to go through on a daily basis.
I have as such taken the time to try and get her story to you in a way that is easy to understand.
She needs access to remedial, symptom, managing, treatment to reduce the build up of fluid in her body as this is restricting her daily activities, it prevents her from standing and sometimes she gets stuck in the shower and cannot get out without contacting emergency services. She needs to be able to reach out to people who can help her in her daily need to battle against the pains.
She is currently learning on the spot about new ways to help herself. She is making diet changes, she is monitoring and adjusting lifestyle habits that can impact fluid retention, which can prevent fluid build up in the first place. This approach can actually prevent the use of emergency services, but we are mindful that when an emergency arises she knows how to call for help. She is also working with us to improve her energy resource as she will need this going forwards to combine with her strong will!
We have looked at emerging science which can be validated through heart analysis to make choices around the effects of supplement intake. My contact list has blessed us with access to a network of other medical practitioners who are trying to help.
The current approach has helped to reduce the feeling of Reielle’s heart bursting out of her chest, which in turn has greatly reduced her anxiety.
She has to have regular blood transfusions due to having lost blood and organs in the past during the removal of tumours, she has been through so many hospital visits for Ecoli, Sepsis, blood transfusions, bone marrow injections etc yet she is still so bubbly and excited about this new journey.
Through research we have found a possible treatment which is without side effects!
She has endured 3 cycles of chemotherapy and 1 cycle of radiation as such she is on palliative care.
We are trying desperately to raise funds for:
1. Therapeutic treatment with medical benefit to regularly manage her daily health challenges
2. To buy Medical and therapeutic equipment for the clinic to be able to assist Reielle’s pain relief and her immune system.
3. Provide an avenue for Private non invasive Immunotherapy via Immucura
Secondarily we will fund major expenses that impact Reielles ability to have treatment such as travel to major appointments which could be abroad.
Where possible we are trying to give Reielle access to a completely normal life by alleviate her major stresses.
Immucura are hoping to provide a non invasive immunotherapy which boosts the immune system but this is dependant on Reielle keeping her health faculties in order, for which we are trying to support her on this.
As a clinic we are documenting and recording changes in her health and will feedback to this page as we make progress, we hope to keep you informed so that others can successfully find an early option for treating their diseases and we hope we can provide the light for the dark tunnels that people have had to go through as they do not know which way to go when faced with such a disease.
We have so far looked at the symptoms that Reielle has been having through many lenses of health practice, such as fluid being trapped in the legs, to understand the medical logic of her problems and to see if by alleviating the soft tissue concerns we could provide a medical answer using therapeutic methods.
We have utilised my understandings of corrective therapies, soft tissue manipulation, evidence based medicine, ancient wisdom from traditional Chinese medicine and Acupuncture, Tuina (Chinese Osteopathy) and understandings of Internal Martial Arts self healing methods combined with Hypnosis, Biofeedback and Heart Rate Variability.
We have been monitoring Reielle’s heart rhythm and timing to try and reduce her stress response at times that she feels frustrated or in pain due to her condition. Its important to bear in mind that her stress response is a natural response but there are times that she may have a stressful episode unnaturally, which could trigger an underlying immune response. So we have been using the method of induced relaxation and I have taught Reielle how to get into a relaxing state so that she can use this for coping at home. Over time I hope this will give her further access to pain management also, so that she can make the right decisions when taking medication as this is her choice now.
Please support us
Kind and dear regards
