Jovanna's EMERGENT Medical Needs

Hello Everyone,

As you may or may not know, Jovanna was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) back in October 2023. She underwent several tests, x-rays, lab work, and several follow up vet visits while awaiting her Cardiology appointments coming up this January 2024. She is scheduled to see her cardiologist and at that visit have several procedures done, which include an echocardiogram, ECG, and follow up imaging. At such time they will decide her treatment plan. Whether that be medication, future procedures or possibly surgery. Management of DCM is lifelong and not curable. It is difficult to make a full prognosis of her disease until these tests are done. The range in which her life expectancy could be anywhere from 6 months to two + years.

I have been devastated at this diagnosis since given the news back in October. How could this happen? I am up to date on all veterinary visits, immunizations/vaccinations, food and nutrition. How could this be? Not my baby!! My only girl! Jovanna and Jasper are my babies. My life. My world. They get me through each day and give me so much to live for. I just adore them and everyone who has met them has loved them as well.

I am asking for HELP for her past and future medical expenses, and upcoming surgeries. Most of you that have animals are aware that even with pet insurance these bills can rack up. Her vet bill in October cost me $1862.00-Upfront. *(already tried applying for care credit and pet insurance)

I have been in severe debt since October trying to get out of this unexpected expense. I am a single woman, living alone, with no help from any assistance or government programs as I make too much annually to qualify.

I know times are tough for everyone, with inflation, and just having Christmas. But I am begging all of you to help Jovanna (AKA Jojo) with her medical bills so she can continue to receive the medical attention she so deserves. Any little bit will help.
