Joy Biesinger

My name is Amanda Wickers. Joy and I first met each other in middle school and quickly became inseparable. Growing up she was always there for me and those around her and never asked for help despite facing many obstacles throughout her childhood. Today she is facing the ultimate challenge and needs our help! In September 2023, Joy was diagnosed with Stage 2, Grade 3 invasive ductal breast cancer at just 31 years old. She now must undergo 5 months of intensive chemotherapy and radiation and eventually a double mastectomy and removal of both ovaries- all while trying to care for her 1 and 3 year old babies, Blake and Cooper. Her family recently relocated to a new state and she has limited support nearby. Her husband, Ian, is in the military and is doing all he can to support their family but he can’t do it alone. Funds will help with the rapidly growing medical costs and childcare while she takes the time to rest and recover. Anything helps. Thank you all!
