Joy Church Pergola: A Place for Prayer

Dear Friend,

My name is Abigail Ngure and I am working to earn the Stars and Stripes award as part of the American Heritage Girls program. The Stars and Stripes is the highest award one can receive in the program equivalent to the Girl Scouts Gold Award and the Scouts Eagle Award. I am planning to build a pergola for Joy Church. It will benefit the church and the surrounding community. Joy Church is involved in a lot of outreach ministry including programs such as Room In The Inn. The pergola will provide a space for fellowship and prayer. I need to raise $600 and I am requesting your help to cover the cost of materials such as wood, cement, and other provisions for the volunteers. Your donation would be greatly appreciated and put to good use. Any extra money will be given to the church to be used for outreach ministry. Another way you can help is by covering the volunteers and this project in prayer for safety and that everything may run smoothly. My dad will be managing any funds to be donated.
