Joy Stauffer Medical Expenses

Joy Stauffer is my older sister, mother of 2 and has been a proud member of the Claymont Community her entire life. Growing up, she was known for athletic ability and sharp wit. Through out her life, she has always been there for her friends regardless if it was a kind word, hug or being able to make that person smile.

On February 17th, Joy suffered a stroke amd is currently is in the hospital. Being self-employed, Joy does not have insurance and will not be able to return to work for several weeks.

She will be applying for health insurance through the state, but until then is in need of help to pay for medication (estimates say $500 per month), lab work (300 per visit), and doctor visits. This not even looking at the expenses of life; food, rent, utilities.
