Joy Teasley Breast Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Hi! I’m Joy. I was diagnosed on September 21, 2023 with Stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma, the most common form of breast cancer in women. On October 19 I had my first surgery to remove the tumor and some lymph nodes. The results came back that I will need a second surgery on November 7 to clean up the margins. There was mico metastatic cells found in one of the three lymph nodes. I am recovering well from my first surgery and expect to do well with my second. I have a very good prognosis and should find out soon about further treatments.
This has put a huge financial strain on my family. I work two jobs, one as an instructional assistant for a 4/5 grade special needs class and as an afterschool teacher for my elementary school. My husband, Ryan, works a full time job. I have no income for October and will have none in November. When I am able to return to work, I will only be able to work my main job as an assistant.
We have two wonderful children, Olivia and Penny, that we need help providing for. We need help financially to pay rent and our other expenses for the next couple of months. If you are able to Donate we grew appreciate it. It is also helpful if you share this.
Thank you so much for your support!
