Memorial Costs for Joyce Bowen

Joyce A. Bowen, 64, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on January 10th, 2024 after a period of failing health.

In unfortunate timing, her husband of 39 years, Brian, caught COVID and had a fall when Joyce went into hospice. They had to say their goodbyes to each other via phone. Their daughter Sarah is now left to plan for services on her own while also trying to take care of her father.

Anyone who met Joyce knew what a loving, kind heart she had. She was almost always in a cheerful mood, smiling, and willing to go along with anything. She was well known for her catchphrases - “cool potatoes”, “you know what I mean, jelly bean?, "sounds good to your Joyce,” and calling absolutely everyone sweetie/honey bun.

Brian and Joyce both receive social security and are on a very limited income. Any donations would be a huge help towards cremation costs and the celebration of life for Joyce.
